Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 10 education
• Valid Code C, EC, or EC1 (Code 14) driver’s licence with a valid PrDP
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 1 year of experience driving buses or trucks

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate municipal buses along approved routes
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues
• Ensure passengers pay the correct fares and the ticketing system is operational
• Complete trip logs and submit them at the end of each shift
• Assist passengers with queries about schedules, fares, and bus passes
• Report any route issues or accidents and complete all necessary documentation
• Maintain order on the bus and interact respectfully with passengers and the public
