Requirements:
- Grade 10 / ABET / AET qualification (recognised by SAQA)
- Valid driver’s licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Willingness to undergo a driving competency test

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver documents as required
- Transport departmental employees, guests, and special advisors of the Executing Authority
- Provide general support services within the Executing Authority’s office
- Stay updated on relevant departmental policies and procedures

For SMS posts:
- Proof of completion of the National School of Government Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme is required before appointment. The course can be accessed here: https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entryprogramme.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical exercise to assess job-relevant technical skills. Details will be communicated by the Department.
- After interviews and the technical exercise, candidates may be required to attend a generic managerial competency assessment in line with DPSA directives, using the approved SMS assessment tools.
Additional requirements for shortlisted candidates:
- Security clearance and qualification verification will be conducted.
- Applicants with foreign qualifications must have them evaluated by SAQA.
- Successful candidates must sign a performance agreement within one month of starting and declare their financial interests as per regulations.
Other conditions:
- Failure to comply with the application requirements will result in disqualification.
