Salary: R155 148 – R182 757 per annum, plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer contribution to pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code C driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Appropriate heavy-duty driving experience.
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, after hours, on public holidays, and be available on standby when required.

- Safe and responsible driving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport soiled and clean linen to and from health institutions efficiently and safely.
- Assist with loading and offloading the truck.
- Deliver clean linen accurately and on time.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and promptly report defects.
- Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
- Complete logbooks accurately.
- Adhere to departmental policies, codes, and procedures.
- Provide effective support to the Transport Officer.
