About the Role
Fedics, a division of Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to support our catering operations. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, plating entrées, salads, and other dishes, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked serving line.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with company and statutory regulations.
• Ensure quality, health and safety, and food standards are consistently met.
• Keep serving areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Assist in training new team members when required.
• Record and store leftover food appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness of canteen tables, kitchen, and related areas.
• Deliver high levels of customer service in line with contract requirements.
• Count and hand over stock to incoming shift staff where applicable.
• Respond to customer feedback, escalating complaints or compliments as needed.
• Attend necessary meetings and training sessions.
• Carry out reasonable requests from management.
• Perform other related duties as required, including weekend and night shifts.

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
