About the Role
Fedics, a division of Tsebo Solutions Group, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to support our catering operations. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, plating entrées, salads, and other dishes, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked serving line.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with company and statutory regulations.
- Ensure quality, health and safety, and food standards are consistently met.
- Keep serving areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Assist in training new team members when required.
- Record and store leftover food appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness of canteen tables, kitchen, and related areas.
- Deliver high levels of customer service in line with contract requirements.
- Count and hand over stock to incoming shift staff where applicable.
- Respond to customer feedback, escalating complaints or compliments as needed.
- Attend necessary meetings and training sessions.
- Carry out reasonable requests from management.
- Perform other related duties as required, including weekend and night shifts.

- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role preferred.
