🚛 Creditors Clerk – Logistics Finance Specialist

Location: East Rand, Gauteng
Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month (plus provident fund & medical aid)

A well-established logistics leader on the East Rand is looking for a detail-driven Creditors Clerk with strong experience in freight and logistics. If you thrive in a fast-paced finance environment and have a passion for accuracy and efficiency, this is your opportunity to join a dynamic team.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain strong relationships with creditors and suppliers.

Accurately capture, match, and process creditor payments.

Reconcile creditor ledgers and intercompany accounts.

Verify and process vendor invoices with proper approvals.

Handle and maintain creditor credit applications.

Manage the accounts payable inbox and queries.

Work with operations teams to correct accruals and optimize cash flow.

Prepare and process payments, including key vendors (CASS, shipping lines).

Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks.


What You’ll Need

NQF Level 4 in Accounting or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ finance experience, ideally in logistics or freight forwarding.

Solid knowledge of accounts payable processes.

Strong reconciliation and organizational skills.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven mindset.
