Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification at NQF Level 02 / Grade 10 / ABET / AET as recognised by SAQA.
  • Valid driver’s license with 7–12 months relevant driving experience.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Motor vehicle operating procedures (e.g., obtaining trip authorities, completing logbooks, using consumables, and basic servicing).
    • Prescripts for correct vehicle utilisation and proper maintenance procedures.
  • Skills & Attributes: Confidentiality, flexibility, good communication skills, and high standard of workmanship.

Key Duties

  • Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver mail, documents, and other items.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and report any defects promptly.
  • Accurately complete required records, logbooks, and documentation related to the vehicle and goods transported.

Additional Notes
