✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving trucks
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• Ability to distinguish between backup alarms, voices, and other essential sounds
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Work well independently and within a team
• Must be medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act and company standards

🔧 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of the truck at all times
• Timely delivery of products to the correct location
• Ensure correct and secure loading of material
• Ensure truck is not overloaded
• Daily pre-start inspections and maintenance checks
• Report any breakdowns or defects immediately
• Report accidents or incidents to management
• Keep the truck clean and roadworthy
• Communicate effectively with on-site personnel
• Monitor truck gauges and systems during operation
• Operate the vehicle within manufacturer specifications
• Refuel as needed
• Complete end-of-day close-out procedures
