About the Role
Lewis Group is looking for a reliable Driver to join our Robertson branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and professional delivery of goods while maintaining the company’s standards of service and vehicle care.

Key Objectives

• Deliver goods to designated locations on time.
• Comply with traffic regulations and company safety standards.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer and public interactions.
• Develop knowledge of local routes to ensure efficient deliveries.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading stock.
• Complete vehicle safety and operations checklists before and after trips.
• Use GPS/navigation systems to plan and follow efficient routes.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and arrange necessary maintenance.
• Refuel vehicles and ensure readiness for daily use.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence.
• At least 1 year of clean driving record.
• Ability to drive long distances or extended periods.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Good navigation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s licence.
• Previous professional driving experience.
• Experience using GPS and route planning tools.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with Robertson and surrounding areas.

Work Location: In person, 16 Kerk St, Robertson, 6705
