Position Overview

The Driver will provide essential support by transporting mail, company goods, and other items along designated routes, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Deliver goods to customers and customs.
  • Collect payments.
  • Dispatch and collect mail from various offices.
  • Deliver claims and related documents.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Secondary Duties

Deliveries to Customers

  • Plan and follow delivery routes.
  • Deliver daily approved and monthly statements.
  • Deliver invoices.

Deliveries to Customs

  • Submit and collect acquittal documents and manifests from statutory bodies.

Mail Dispatch & Collection

  • Collect incoming mail from various offices.
  • Sort and distribute mail to intended recipients.

Ad Hoc Duties

  • Carry out legal requests as assigned by the Facilities Manager, including:
    • Renewing company vehicle licenses.
    • Delivering and collecting vehicles for servicing.
    • Conducting vehicle inspections and keeping vehicles clean.

Note: For operational purposes, tasks outside this scope may be required from time to time. Duties may be amended by management when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
