Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (successful candidates will be required to sign a performance agreement)

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office).
    • Good administrative and organisational abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Document management and filing skills.

Duties (Key Performance Areas):

  • Render general clerical support services.
  • Provide supply chain clerical support within the component.
  • Assist with personnel administration functions.
  • Support financial administration processes.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Shortlisting & Assessments:

  • Shortlisted candidates will undergo technical and/or competency assessments.
  • For SMS (Senior Management Service) posts, a pre-entry certificate from the National School of Government (NSG) is required prior to appointment.
  • Candidates will also be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
  • Foreign nationals or dual citizens must provide a police clearance certificate from their country of origin (only when shortlisted).
