About the Role

As a Client Service Officer at Ampath, you play a central role in ensuring seamless healthcare support. This position goes beyond administration — it’s about creating smooth client experiences, ensuring specimens are processed correctly, reports are accurate, and client interactions reflect our commitment to excellence.

You will be responsible for handling samples for sub-contractors, managing documentation, and supporting timely reporting processes. Your work directly contributes to high-quality service delivery and strengthens client relationships within a fast-paced medical environment.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (essential).
  • 1–2 years administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or medical services.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and data management.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately capture patient and client details.
  • Ensure the efficient flow and tracking of specimens.
  • Support the preparation of samples for subcontracted services.
  • Provide clear, timely communication of results and updates.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Role Details

  • Work Week: 5 days
  • Hours: 45 hours per week
