🌟 About the Role

AECI Mining is looking for 13 motivated and mechanically inclined individuals to join our SF2 Plant in Modderfontein as Plant Operators (Fixed-Term Contract). If you have a hands-on mindset and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!

🔧 Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a crucial role in assembling high-precision initiating system products including:

• Shocktube and surface assemblies
• Electronic detonators and export units
• Cobra Clip tagging, printing, and packaging
• Soldering wires onto EIU assemblies (NETSHOCK, DIGISHOT, HOTSHOT, SMARTSHOT)
• Operation of coiling, ultrasonic sealing, and electronic assembly machines
• Minor equipment cleaning and maintenance

All activities must be performed in compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) standards and quality procedures.

• Grade 12 / N3 qualification (technical subjects preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
