About the Role

Warrior Edge Projects is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Waste Handlers to join our team. The role involves the safe collection, transportation, and disposal of waste materials while maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Waste Management: Safely handle, package, transport, and dispose of various waste types, including hazardous materials, in line with municipal and environmental regulations.
• Inspection & Sorting: Identify and separate waste materials to ensure proper disposal and minimize environmental impact.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of waste handled, including type, quantity, and disposal methods.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during waste handling and transport.
• Collaboration: Cooperate with environmental authorities and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification (additional studies in Environmental Science or related fields advantageous).
• Certification: Hazardous materials handling or confined space entry certification (preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in waste management, especially with hazardous materials, will be advantageous.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
