About the Role
Vassco Distributors, a leading wholesale distribution company, is seeking reliable and hardworking General Assistants to join their warehouse team. The successful candidates will assist with warehouse operations and route deliveries, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and organize incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and pack stock accurately according to orders.
- Assist with loading, transporting, and offloading deliveries.
- Manage and retrieve stock within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Studying towards a qualification in the wholesale or logistics industry is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of relevant warehouse or general work experience.
Core Competencies
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
- Team player with good coordination and numerical ability.
