This position is based at our Geochemistry Laboratory in Orkney (Vaal River Laboratory).
Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and professional Driver to provide efficient and safe transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, performing deliveries and collections, and ensuring all company vehicles are maintained in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a reliable and courteous driving service at all times.
- Conduct deliveries and collections as required.
- Maintain accurate transport and delivery records.
- Ensure all activities comply with SGS’s quality and safety management systems.
- Keep company vehicles clean and in good working order.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- License: Valid South African Driver’s License
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience
