Position Overview

An experienced and caring Au Pair is required for a family based in Hyde Park, Johannesburg. The role involves assisting with two 6-year-old twins during weekday afternoons.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Compensation: R14 000 per month
Expected Hours: ±30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Collect children from school safely and on time.
• Assist with homework, school projects, and educational activities.
• Engage in fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate play.
• Prepare snacks and light meals for the children.
• Provide occasional assistance with household or personal errands (excluding cleaning).

Requirements

• Languages: German or Italian speaking (advantageous).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years formal au pair experience with contactable references.
• Education: Matric qualification required.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Montessori or Reggio Emilia educational methods preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Age between 24 and 35 years.
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clear criminal record.
  • No cat allergies.
