Position Overview

We are seeking two Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidates will provide efficient service at the point of sale (POS), maintain merchandising standards, and ensure customers enjoy a seamless and friendly shopping experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all point of sale operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure cash handling and transaction processes are secure and compliant.
  • Accurately scan merchandise, process payments, and manage Clicks ClubCard transactions.
  • Actively promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard loyalty program to meet participation targets.
  • Inform customers about ongoing promotions to enhance sales and brand loyalty.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by being approachable, professional, and attentive.
  • Maintain store housekeeping and merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.
  • Stay up to date on products, promotions, and store events to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Uphold the Clicks Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice in health and beauty retail.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Knowledge:

  • Basic mathematics and numeracy
  • Understanding of retail/FMCG operations and merchandising principles
  • Awareness of stock management procedures
  • Commitment to customer service excellence

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
