Position Overview
We are seeking two Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidates will provide efficient service at the point of sale (POS), maintain merchandising standards, and ensure customers enjoy a seamless and friendly shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all point of sale operations accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure cash handling and transaction processes are secure and compliant.
- Accurately scan merchandise, process payments, and manage Clicks ClubCard transactions.
- Actively promote and enroll customers in the Clicks ClubCard loyalty program to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions to enhance sales and brand loyalty.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by being approachable, professional, and attentive.
- Maintain store housekeeping and merchandising standards in line with company guidelines.
- Stay up to date on products, promotions, and store events to provide accurate information to customers.
- Uphold the Clicks Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice in health and beauty retail.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Knowledge:
- Basic mathematics and numeracy
- Understanding of retail/FMCG operations and merchandising principles

Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
