Key Responsibilities

Binning / Receiving

• Accurately bin incoming stock and replenish inventory from bulk to pick locations according to standard procedures.
• Allocate bin location numbers for new products in the correct warehouse sections.
• Update and report all bin changes or new stock allocations to your supervisor.
• Assist in replenishment tasks as needed.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods in line with company standards.

Picking

• Pick customer and branch orders promptly to meet order cut-off times.
• Only pick from bulk locations when required (e.g., stock depletion or bulk order handling).
• Follow all lawful instructions from your supervisor and adhere to standard procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in stock take activities and ensure accurate stock handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace daily.
• Perform double checks to reduce inventory loss and ensure order accuracy.
• Consistently meet operational performance targets.

Scanner Control

• Issue scanners to operators daily and log transactions using the electronic system.
• Inspect scanners for damage upon return and update records accordingly.
• Report any damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Maintain and update the daily scanner issue spreadsheet.

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
• Computer Literacy: Required
