Requirements

• Qualification: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric).
• Knowledge of:
  • Departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Labour legislation and regulations
  • Employment Services Act
  • Public Service Act and Regulations
  • Batho Pele Principles
• Skills:
  Computer literacy, communication (verbal and written), interpersonal relations, problem solving, listening, telephone etiquette, interviewing, and the ability to interpret legislation.

Key Duties

• Register work seekers and employment opportunities on the Employment Services System of South Africa (ESSA).
• Refer work seekers for employment counselling services.
• Support the placement process for work and learning opportunities.
• Perform general administrative tasks.
• Participate in advocacy and promotional activities when required.
