Requirements

  • Qualification: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (Matric).
  • Knowledge of:
    • Labour legislation and regulations
    • Relevant ILO conventions
    • Public Service Act and Regulations
    • Departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
    • Batho Pele Principles
  • Skills:
    Interpersonal communication, telephone etiquette, interviewing, computer literacy, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and the ability to interpret legislation.

Key Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact at the help desk within Registration Services.
  • Address and resolve client complaints related to labour legislation, in line with the IES Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Participate in advocacy and awareness campaigns as required.
