About the Family
A loving family in Dainfern is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Au Pair to care for their three children — one aged 10 and twins aged 7.
Working Hours
- During School Term: Monday – Friday, 12h00 – 18h00 (flexible during school hours if no errands or admin are required)
- During School Holidays: Monday – Friday, 07h00 – 13h00 (hours may vary depending on activities)
Key Responsibilities
- Collect children from school and transport them to extramural activities.
- Assist with homework, school projects, and educational support.
- Attend school events when parents are unavailable.
- Prepare light meals (supper) for the children.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping.
- Support with light business-related admin tasks during free hours (e.g., coordinating viewings, handling tenant queries).
Requirements
- Preferred Candidate: Female; young, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Experience: Minimum 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience (within the past 2 years), excluding work for friends or family.
- Education: Matric (Grade 12).
- Other Requirements:
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Own reliable vehicle and at least 18 months of driving experience.
- Minimum of 2 contactable childcare references.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Passionate about working with children.
