Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a dedicated Packer to join their Greenstone store team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately receiving, sorting, and packing stock in accordance with Dis-Chem’s operational standards and customer service requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• At least 6 months of relevant retail receiving experience
• Basic mathematical skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Willingness to work retail hours

Job Responsibilities

• Unload stock from supplier delivery vehicles.
• Verify that all received goods are correctly allocated.
• Handle all products carefully to prevent damage or injury.
• Sort and pack various items onto pallets to streamline the checking process.
• Identify and report any discrepancies such as damaged or incorrectly labeled goods.
• Collaborate with the Receiving Clerk to organize and check stock.
• Accurately pack stock onto shelves or pallets.
• Complete all necessary administrative forms and documentation for damaged or misplaced items in line with Dis-Chem’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
