About the Programme: Commercial Advancement Training Scheme (CATS)
This 18-month learnership programme offers young, motivated individuals an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while studying part-time toward an accredited qualification.
Successful learners who meet all requirements may have the opportunity to further their studies or career within Siemens Mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of standard administrative and financial support tasks under supervision.
- Assist with data entry, documentation, and financial management.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the department you are placed in.
- Support operational activities and special projects when required.
- Uphold accuracy, confidentiality, and professional conduct in all assigned duties.
Who We’re Looking For
- Recent matriculants or young professionals eager to launch their careers in a global technology and finance-focused environment.
- Motivated individuals willing to study part-time toward the ICB Office Administration NQF Level 5 qualification (requires additional commitment outside normal work hours).
- Candidates who share Siemens’ values and are dedicated to personal growth and contributing to South Africa’s development.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 / Matric with:
- Pure Mathematics and Accounting (minimum 65% average in both).
- Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail, honesty, and integrity.
- Genuine interest in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Must be based in or willing to travel within Northriding and nearby Siemens offices/project sites.
