Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and diligent General Worker to join our food production team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily production activities, ensure cleanliness in all work areas, and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards.
This is a part-time, on-call position, meaning you will be contacted for shifts as production demands arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day food production tasks such as packing, labeling, and ingredient preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all work and production areas.
- Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Clean equipment, tools, and surfaces after use.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Follow company health, safety, and operational policies.
- Perform additional general duties as directed by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or cleaning (advantageous but not essential).
- Must have a cellphone with WhatsApp for shift communication.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit and able to work while standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Willingness to work flexible, on-call hours based on production needs.
- Availability for occasional weekend or public holiday shifts if required.
