Requirements
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Experience:
- Relevant practical experience in an Information Management environment.
Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):
- Understanding of Ditcom processes and Information Technology.
- Knowledge and experience with departmental systems such as SINJANI, PHCIS, Clinicom, and Ideal Clinic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong training skills.
- Ability to take accountability, work independently, and perform duties with minimal supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as an administrative member of the information management team and participate in health information coordination activities.
- Collect, compile, and validate data, analyse trends, and ensure accurate data flow and quality monitoring.
- Prepare and present data reports for meetings.
- Capture and maintain information on relevant systems and manage patient folders effectively.
- Provide local oversight of PHCIS 4, the Ideal Clinic database, and address IT-related issues including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Offer support to the Facility Manager and perform administrative relief duties when required.
