Position: Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Stores)
Salary: R228,321 per annum
Location: Tygerberg Hospital, Parow Valley
Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting, or
- Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with extensive experience relevant to the Key Performance Areas of the post.
- Experience:
- Relevant experience in stores or warehouse operations.
- Inherent Requirements:
- Willingness to rotate within the Supply Chain Management Section.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Instructions, and Accounting Officer Systems.
- Understanding of inventory and warehouse management practices.
- Computer literacy (MS Excel and MS Word).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical experience with warehousing/logistics systems.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, issue, and follow up on inventory items with suppliers.
- Execute warehouse processes efficiently and in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Capture documentation accurately on the Inventory/Supply Chain system and maintain proper filing.
- Ensure compliance with all Supply Chain Management and Stores regulations.
- Handle telephonic and written enquiries from suppliers and end users.
- Safeguard stock, monitor stock levels, and identify slow-moving items for reporting.
- Provide effective administrative support to the supervisor.
