SALARY: R138 486 per annum
LOCATION: Zithabiseng Public Library

REQUIREMENTS:

• ABET Level 4 certificate (Grade 9)
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and how to use it
• Understanding of health and safety requirements
• Basic knowledge of safety rules and correct chemical usage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in corporate cleaning will be an added advantage

DUTIES:

• Provide general cleaning services
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Perform dusting, sweeping, waxing, disinfecting, scrubbing, and vacuuming of floors and doors
• Empty and clean waste bins
• Collect and dispose of waste paper
• Refresh and tidy office areas
• Clean kitchen areas, wash basins, and maintain stock of kitchen utensils
• Clean library offices and boardrooms
• Report faulty equipment
• Request additional cleaning supplies when needed
• Perform additional duties as required

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and its proper use
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Basic knowledge of safety rules and correct handling of cleaning chemicals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Corporate cleaning experience will serve as an advantage

DUTIES:

• Perform general cleaning duties
• Manage and maintain cleaning materials and equipment
• Dust, sweep, wax, disinfect, scrub, and vacuum floors and doors
• Empty and clean waste bins
• Collect and dispose of waste paper
• Refresh office areas
• Clean kitchen areas, wash basins, and maintain kitchen utensil supplies
• Clean library offices and boardrooms
• Report malfunctioning equipment
• Request necessary cleaning materials
• Assist with other tasks as needed
