Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Driver to join our energetic team. The successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and be committed to delivering excellent service. The role involves transporting products and equipment between various locations, supporting customer deliveries and collections, and performing additional driving-related duties as required by daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license and PDP with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a driving role within a similar environment is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Ability to operate different vehicle types, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Good communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance (e.g., checking oil, fluids, and tire pressure).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle equipment and perform manual tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Complete log sheets, read and interpret delivery documents/maps, and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Pack and unpack items for storage and ensure storeroom organization.
- Inspect stock items for defects or damage and report issues to the supervisor.
- Receive and count stock, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Label stock items as needed.
- Ensure correct documentation is available when receiving or dispatching stock, and report any irregularities promptly.
