Office Administrator – Permanent Role in Fourways

A company in Fourways, Johannesburg, seeks an experienced and highly organized Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Compensation: R20,000 – R25,000 per month (Gross, dependent on experience, qualifications, and current earnings).

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.


Key Responsibilities

The Administrator will act as a central coordinator, ensuring seamless communication and workflow between the studio and event teams.

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate tasks across departments, manage project briefs, approvals, progress tracking, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Administrative & Reporting Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance and reporting.
  • Client Relations: Maintain professional and friendly communication to support client relations.
  • Event Logistics: Assist with planning, setup, and post-event follow-ups for various events.
  • Creative Studio Support: Coordinate studio work from the initial briefing phase through to final delivery.
  • Marketing & Social Media: Support marketing efforts by posting approved content, managing schedules, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms (basic social media understanding is beneficial).

Candidate Profile & Mandatory Requirements

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years verifiable administration experience (excluding personal/family work).
  • Transport: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and at least 18 months driving experience.
  • Background: Clear criminal record.
  • Documentation: South African ID and Matric certificate.
  • References: Must provide at least two contactable administrative references.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and proven ability to multitask.
  • Confidence with technology and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Experience in event or marketing coordination, client relations, or creative environments is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and ready to take ownership of tasks.
