| Vehicle Inspection & Reporting | * Inspect the vehicle pre-departure and return. * Hand inspection lists to the Dispatch Supervisor every Monday for sign-off. * Immediately report any errors on the vehicle before it leaves the premises. * Maintain and clean the vehicle; report any problems immediately. |
| Loading & Delivery | * Check parcels with the supervisor before loading (adhering to the New Dispatch Loading procedure). * Deliver parcels to customers on the designated route as per route schedule and trip sheet. * No stock transfers between customer shops are permitted. |
| Documentation (POD) | * Ensure customer adherence to the Proof of Delivery (POD) procedure. * Adhere to the RFC (Return From Customer) procedure. * Deliver all documents and collection slips allocated to the trip sheet and receive the POD. * Sign trip sheets in at the POD clerk. |
| Accountability | * Ensure all assigned documents are complete and received back the following day. * Outstanding trip sheets are your responsibility; you will be held liable for any claims on “No POD” queries. * Report any problems encountered regarding deliveries or PODs to the dispatch supervisor. |
