FlySafair is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join as Passenger Services Trainees at Cape Town Airport. This hands-on training program is ideal for those eager to gain real-world experience in the aviation industry, particularly in passenger services and airport ground handling.
As a trainee, you’ll be at the heart of the airport action—helping passengers, supporting ground staff, and ensuring smooth, efficient check-in and boarding processes.
🛫 Key Responsibilities
- Guide passengers to correct check-in counters and queues
- Assist with crowd control as check-in closure approaches
- Support ground staff with baggage tagging and handling
- Ensure passengers have documents ready for check-in
- Provide extra help to elderly passengers and families
- Monitor hand luggage sizes using cabin baggage bins
- Operate POS systems for baggage payments
- Help streamline the security process
- Fast-track late passengers in long queues
- Keep check-in areas clean and organized
- Direct passengers to airport amenities
✅ Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Must be fluent in English
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management
- Own transport is essential
