Duties
Operate tractors with various implements (e.g., ploughs, rippers, planters, sprayers) to support general farming activities, including land cultivation, planting, tillage, harvesting, transporting goods, firefighting, fencing tasks, and lawn mowing.
Carry out road maintenance, firebreak upkeep, and related construction work using appropriate machinery.
Operate specialised equipment such as harvesters, drilling machines, excavators, and sewer jetting machinery.
Perform vehicle and implement maintenance tasks, including safe storage, cleaning, and routine checks.
Keep accurate vehicle mileage and monthly logbooks and report as required.
Report defects timeously to the mechanical workshop to prevent further damage.
Assist with issuing and receiving fuel and oils.
