Job Purpose

To achieve daily production targets accurately and on time, while maintaining product integrity in line with Premier’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high product quality within the Production Department.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at all times.
• Follow all company rules, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support efficiency improvements and assist with planned maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Maintain proper administration and record-keeping.
• Comply with SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and health & safety requirements.
• Stack crates, pick stock, and handle damage repacks as needed.

Skills & Attributes

• Ability to operate and maintain scales and other production equipment.
• Understanding of production processes and quality management principles.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail, including unit conversions for batch calculations.
• Excellent numerical skills and precise record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12

Experience

• 1–2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work in a hot, noisy environment with maize dust.
• Willing to work overtime, including after hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
