At Samsara Africa Travel, we specialise in crafting premium, personalised travel experiences. As a chauffeur, you will play a key role in delivering these journeys, ensuring that every trip is seamless, luxurious, and memorable for our high-end clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Tourism Expertise: Strong understanding of tourism products and packages in Johannesburg, including Sandton, Rosebank, O.R. Tambo, and surrounding areas.
- Chauffeuring Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally working with luxury or international clients.
- Local Knowledge: Excellent familiarity with local routes, attractions, hotels, and fine-dining establishments—without relying on GPS.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional, personalised service and ensure a premium guest experience.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of efficiency, presentation, and service delivery.
- Stress Management: Perform well under pressure and accept constructive guidance from senior staff.
- Driving Standards: Maintain a clean, professional driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) – essential
- Code 10 licence – advantageous

Additional Requirements
- Extensive road knowledge of Johannesburg, Sandton, Rosebank, O.R. Tambo and nearby areas without using GPS.
- Experience chauffeuring international and high-end tourists; applicants without luxury tourism experience will not proceed to the next stage.
- Must be familiar with high-end hotels, fine dining establishments, and luxury vehicles.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be based in Johannesburg.
