About the Position

Faircape Group is looking for a skilled and qualified Temporary Driver for Heritage Manor in Somerset West. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting residents and/or staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Transporting Residents & Staff

• Transport staff between designated parking areas and the estate using a bus
• Provide transport services for village residents, including scheduled trips
• Be available for occasional after-hours and weekend trips as needed

Vehicle Care & Safety

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper tyre condition, adequate oil levels, and check for dents or scratches; report issues to the manager
• Follow all road traffic regulations
• Safely operate and park the vehicle at all times
• Park the golf cart/bus in its allocated parking bay when not in use

Administration & Reporting

• Assist the Client Services Officer with sorting newspapers and other notices for distribution
• Complete driving logs and any other reports required by management

Experience

• Experience transporting passengers, ideally within the tourism sector or a retirement village environment
• Prior experience driving a 23-seater bus is preferred

Minimum Requirements

• Code 10 driver’s licence with a valid PDP (non-negotiable)

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
