Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
• Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence with PrDP
• Relevant operator training
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty machinery and trucks safely
• Transport staff, equipment, and plant materials to designated sites
• Operate jet truck water vehicles, skid steer loaders, bobcats, and other heavy civil machinery
• Plan, organise, and ensure that all allocated tasks are completed efficiently and in line with set standards
• Use assigned resources effectively and responsibly
• Install required work-site signage according to the applicable Traffic Control Plan to ensure safety
• Ensure full compliance with governance requirements, including the OHS Act, by-laws, and internal policies
• Follow all standards, policies, and SOPs to minimise financial waste and identify potential risks
• Receive, interpret, and action job cards, maps, and work instructions
• Open manholes, handle hoses, and operate heavy tools and equipment
