Position Overview
Simply Fresh Produce is looking for a dependable and detail-focused Packer to join our team. This is a strict night-shift role with non-negotiable working hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate packing, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, and ensuring product quality at all times.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Shift: 12:00am – 09:00am (non-negotiable)
- Work Week: Sunday 12:00am to Saturday 12:00am
- Days Off: One Saturday and one Thursday off per month
- Reports To: Packhouse Supervisor / Management
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Pack products in line with quality standards and customer requirements
- Arrive punctually for the 12:00am–09:00am shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the packing area daily
- Store products correctly to reduce spoilage and waste
- Ensure all packed items meet accuracy and quality checks
- Minimize product and packaging wastage
- Complete every assigned order in full—no shortages allowed
- Clean and sanitize equipment and plastic pallets daily
- Complete daily cleaning schedules
- Ensure all products are returned to their designated zones before shift end
- Wear proper PPE at all times
Requirements
- Ability to work fixed, non-negotiable night-shift hours
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Adherence to hygiene, safety, and PPE regulations
- Own vehicle
- Valid driver’s licence
