Admin Clerk: Security & Work Environment (Ref No: COGTA 01/12/2025)
Number of Posts: 2

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05)
Location: Bhisho

Minimum Requirements

  • National Higher Certificate or Diploma (NQF Level 5) in Public Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences or a related qualification with no prior experience
    OR
  • Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) with a minimum of two years’ experience in Public Service or Office Administration

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Public Service prescripts, including the PFMA and Treasury Regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and calculate claims for submission to the Supervisor
  • Prepare and capture claims on the system
  • Maintain accurate filing of all claims documentation
