Emporium Human Capital is recruiting a Picker Packer within the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for dispatch while maintaining high quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Minimum Requirements & Experience:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order fulfilment environment
  • Experience using shipping systems or handheld scanners
  • Forklift licence or training on warehouse equipment (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick stock from warehouse inventory using order lists or scanners
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy before packing
  • Pack, label, and seal cartons in line with shipping requirements
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or conveyor systems (where certified)
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or errors
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse procedures

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment (scanners, pallet jacks)
  • Understanding of order processing and inventory control systems
  • Physically capable of lifting, stacking, and moving packages
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Reliable, consistent, and deadline driven
