Role Purpose:
To deliver outstanding customer service by efficiently managing point-of-sale (POS) operations, merchandising, and in-store housekeeping, ensuring a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions at the point of sale, including scanning merchandise and handling payments.
- Ensure safe and secure handling of cash at all times.
- Promote and enroll customers onto the Clicks ClubCard to achieve participation targets.
- Inform customers about current promotions to drive sales and enhance customer value.
- Provide excellent customer service by acting as a brand ambassador and delivering friendly, professional assistance.
- Execute merchandising activities and maintain store presentation in line with visual and housekeeping standards.
- Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by upholding company values.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, ranges, and in-store events to assist customers effectively.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and mathematical calculations.
- Understanding of retail/FMCG environments, merchandising principles, and promotional activities.
- Knowledge of stock control and management procedures.
- Awareness of customer service excellence standards.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Essential: Grade 12 qualification.
