Role Purpose
The Trainee Procurement role provides end-to-end administrative and coordination support to the assigned function within Bayobab. The learner will contribute to strategic initiatives, project execution, reporting, and operational efficiency while supporting alignment with functional and organisational strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute input to strategic and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
- Support internal and global projects through coordination and documentation
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-ups with stakeholders
- Escalate risks or issues that may impact timelines, costs, productivity, or resources
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for decision-making and approvals
- Track and report on project status, progress, and performance metrics
- Assist with risk mitigation, governance, and compliance activities
- Support the execution of functional strategies and service quality improvements
- Research, develop, edit, and quality-check presentations aligned with MTN branding standards
- Compile and manage information for internal and external performance reporting
- Assist with knowledge management, including content curation and staff support
- Interface with internal operating companies and external vendors when required
- Support the development of service documentation, contracts, training materials, and business presentations
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the department

Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Relevant 3- or 4-year degree or diploma
Experience:
- 0–2 years of work experience
