Role Description
The General Worker role involves carrying out basic operational and support tasks that require minimal induction, contributing to the smooth daily functioning of the retail operation.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
- Ability to load and offload stock
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Stock handling and basic stock control
- Customer service orientation
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
- Willingness to continuously add value to the role
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure general cleanliness and tidiness of the premises
- Perform cleaning and general housekeeping tasks
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required
- Assist customers and suppliers with loading and offloading of stock in line with company procedures
- Provide effective customer service
Skills and Competencies
