Role Overview

As a Courier at Ampath, you play a critical role in connecting our laboratories with the communities we serve. You will be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of medical specimens, reports, and parcels using a vehicle or motorbike. Your reliability and dedication directly support the delivery of accurate, life-changing diagnostic services and contribute to Ampath’s high-performance, patient-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport medical specimens, reports, and parcels safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Ensure timely deliveries to support accurate diagnostics and patient care
• Represent Ampath professionally and build strong client relationships

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification
• Valid South African driver’s licence (Code B)
• At least 1 year of general driving experience
• Strong understanding of road safety, punctuality, and professionalism

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and service orientation
