Role Overview
As a Courier at Ampath, you play a critical role in connecting our laboratories with the communities we serve. You will be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of medical specimens, reports, and parcels using a vehicle or motorbike. Your reliability and dedication directly support the delivery of accurate, life-changing diagnostic services and contribute to Ampath’s high-performance, patient-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, reports, and parcels safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Ensure timely deliveries to support accurate diagnostics and patient care
- Represent Ampath professionally and build strong client relationships
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Valid South African driver’s licence (Code B)
- At least 1 year of general driving experience
- Strong understanding of road safety, punctuality, and professionalism
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- High level of reliability, attention to detail, and service orientation
