Programme Overview

Momentum Insure, in collaboration with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), invites unemployed young South Africans to apply for a valuable learnership opportunity within the short-term insurance industry.

This learnership will run from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027 and is designed to provide practical workplace exposure and industry-specific skills. Upon successful completion, participants will obtain a Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Short-Term Insurance (NQF Level 4).

Minimum Requirements

• Aged between 18 and 25 years (including those turning 25 in 2026)
• South African ID copy must be attached
• Passed Matric, with at least 50% in English (Mathematics will be advantageous)
  • Matric certificate or preliminary results must be attached
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Computer literate
• Currently unemployed with little to no work experience
• Not studying at any institution and no post-Matric qualifications
• Not registered for any other learnership
• Strong interest in building a career in short-term insurance
• Clear criminal and credit record
