Minimum Requirements

• Passed ABET Level 4 or Grade 12
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic planning and organisational skills
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery
• Basic literacy skills
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform effective cleaning of buildings and facilities
• Empty dustbins and maintain cleanliness of work areas
• Dust and polish furniture
• Clean windows, walls, floors, and vacuum carpets
• Conduct deep cleaning of toilets
• Refill toilet paper and hand-washing soap dispensers
• Clean kitchen areas and utensils
• Report defects identified during cleaning activities
• Warn staff of slippery floors and potential hazards
• Assist with offloading delivered materials and organising the storeroom
