🌟 Role Overview
Eskom is seeking experienced and committed individuals to fill three Senior Plant Operator positions at Lethabo Power Station. The successful candidates will be responsible for the automatic and manual operation of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems including desalination, CPP, ammonia plant, cooling water systems, effluent handling, and the sewage plant.
âś… Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Grade 12 or N3 with Maths and Science
- N4 in Chemical Plant Operations
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant operational experience in a similar plant environment

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor WTP systems both automatically and manually
- Operate desalination and main cooling water systems
- Operate auxiliary systems such as the CPP and ammonia plant
- Manage station drains, sewage, and effluent systems
- Fulfill all duties related to appointed person responsibilities
- Perform additional legitimate operational activities as required
