An exciting opportunity has become available for a high-calibre Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver (Code 14) to join our contract operations based in Dwaalboom, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient transportation and handling of bulk materials while strictly adhering to safety, operational, and legal requirements.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Certificate
- Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver’s licence with a valid PrDP
- Minimum 3 years’ experience driving:
- Ultra-heavy vehicles
- Bulk tankers
- Superlink / Interlink / Combination vehicles
- Sound knowledge of:
- Defensive driving techniques
- Emergency and defect reporting procedures
- Vehicle inspections and fire-extinguisher operation
- Vehicle loading and offloading techniques
- Maximising vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Clean criminal record
- Medically fit
🛠️ Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for trips and operate ultra-heavy motor vehicles safely
- Load, transport, and offload cargo in line with operational standards
- Complete and manage all required documentation accurately
- Perform ancillary duties as required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping for vehicles, uniform, and PPE
- Adhere to all SOPs, safety, and compliance procedures
- Execute all reasonable instructions from the Supervisor
