📌 Job Overview
The Learner Silo Operator performs varied and complex tasks related to grain handling and silo operations within the manufacturing and storage environment.
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- Certificate in Grain Grading and Grain Fumigation (advantageous)
- Experience in a similar environment (advantageous)
🛠 Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the flow of grain
- Ensure grain protection through fumigation as directed by supervisor
- Monitor grain tube temperatures and report deviations
- Measure grain tubes according to safety regulations and company policy
- Operate silo equipment in line with VKB Group policies
