🛠 Job Purpose

As a Handyman, you will ensure campus facilities, furniture, and infrastructure are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. You’ll handle general repairs and coordinate with service providers when necessary to maintain high infrastructure standards.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly building inspections and identify repair needs
• Perform general maintenance in line with safety procedures
• Report breakages, hazards, and damages to the Principal
• Assist with moving furniture, deliveries, and access control
• Ensure fire equipment is functional and legally compliant
• Liaise with external service providers when required
• Maintain campus equipment (whiteboards, TVs, projectors, etc.)
• Generate and submit weekly supply replacement lists
• Support internal and external audits
• Provide general assistance to staff and campus teams

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 2 years’ maintenance/handyman experience
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Driver’s license (advantageous)
• No criminal record
• No MIE listing for arrears/outstanding fees at educational institutions
