The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) β Grain Crops division is inviting applications for MSc Student: Plant Breeding positions funded by the National Department of Agriculture.

π Minimum Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Agriculture / Crop Science / Plant Production
- Must include Genetics and Plant Breeding modules
- Proven ability to conduct research at Honours level
- Must be a South African citizen
- Valid driverβs licence (advantage)
- Proof of MSc registration required
π¬ Key Responsibilities
- Provide research support within Plant Breeding projects
- Collaborate with students, researchers, technical staff, and external partners
- Engage with relevant project stakeholders
- Publish and present research findings (scientific journals, conferences, popular publications)
- Ensure compliance with SHE/OHS policies
